Hornbill - D'Longhouse

Concept : Localization /Originality

The brief is to design a label for local alchoholic drink. D'Longhouse - Arak Kitai (which means our alchohol in bahasa sarawak)

I sketched out the longhouse (with a reference) and colour it with photoshop. Then design the label with natives motives as background, combination of warm and earth colours. the two symbol beside Hornbill represent the warriors, they called it Bunga Terung (Brinjal Flower).
